Teams will be coed where possible and in accordance to NFL Flag requirements.

All teams are coached by volunteer students or adults

Coaches are required to take a background check as NFL Flag rules.

Players register as individuals. Players will be drafted by league coaches after a combine.

PRICING
$125 Registration Fee

$35 Uniform Kit
(Includes: reversible uniform jersey branded as NFL team + Flag belt & NFL branded flags)

Returning players can use last season's jersey & flag belts
Shorts with NO POCKETS are also required for all league games and can be purchased separately or purchased during registration along with other accessories (football gloves, mouth piece, etc...)

ADVANCEMENT
All league teams will receive invitations to play in tournaments in the Mt. Pleasant area with opportunities to advance into NFL Flag Regional tournaments hosted by NFL teams.
​
Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans are the official NFL Flag Regional Tournament hosts for the East Texas area.
Teams winning their respective Regional tournament in specific age divisions will advance to the NFL Flag Championship being played at the NFL Pro Bowl each February
What Uniform Items Are Required To Participate?
NFL Flag Jersey - The league requires a purchase of an NFL Flag jersey to participate. These jerseys are reversible so only 1 jersey is needed to have a Home and Away jersey on game day.
Shorts - Shorts with NO pockets are required to participate. These shorts can be purchased from the league or separately.
Flag Belt & Flags - NFL Flag belt and flags are required to participate. These items are included with all jersey purchases.
What Should I Expect Once I Register?
Combine - The league conducts a Combine approx 3 weeks prior to league games beginning. Each child will be rated based on his/her experience in throwing, catching, and speed/agility.
Draft - Once Combine is completed, all league coaches gather for a Draft in which players will be drafted to teams.
Uniforms - Based on draft order, coaches will choose which NFL team they want to be. Uniforms will be ordered after the draft and coaches will bring them to a particular practice approx. 1 week prior to the first league game.
Practices - Coaches determine day/times to host team practices.

TOURNAMENTS
All competitive teams will receive invitations to play in all Pro Flag Football tournaments, which will have Competitive Divisions, but are encouraged to find other tournaments to participate in.
Zorts is a popular location to find competitive tournaments.
What Uniform Items Are Required To Participate?
To compete in the Competitive Division, all players must have a uniform kit that includes 1) Jersey, 2) Pocketless Shorts, 3) League Approved Flag Belt, and 4) League Approved Flags. Uniform kits can be either NFL Flag or fully custom purchased from another uniform vendor. One popular option is www.GoTeamSport.com.
Is A Zorts ID Card Required?
No but encouraged. A Zorts ID Card is encouraged to participate in both the league and in tournaments we host. Zorts ID cards are good for 12 months from the time of purchase. ID cards are purchased from Zorts directly. www.Zorts.com
Our tournaments use these cards to Age Verify each player and so parents can digitally sign all required release forms.
